Mr. Corey Bernard Johnson was born to Mr. James Spann and Mrs. Brenda Johnson.
At an early age, Corey accepted Christ as his personal Savior, and joined Mount Zion AME Church in Louisville, AL. Corey graduated from Barbour County High School in the year of 2014. He dedicated much of his time to his daughter, Carmyn Johnson, who was the center of his life.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Shirley Ann Kennedy.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter: Carmyn Ariel Johnson; his devoted parents: Mr. James Spann of Springhill, AL and Mrs. Brenda Johnson of Clayton, AL; five devoted brothers: Nicholas James (Sherika) Johnson, Marcus (Sequoia) Johnson, Carderio McIntire, LaJames Johnson and Jametarez’ Johnson all of Clayton, AL; one sister: JaKais Spann of Columbus, GA; two grandparents: Arthur (Doris) Hines of Springhill, AL and Linda Spann of Eufaula, AL; two special great grandparents: Charlie and Shellie M. McClendon of Ozark, AL; six aunts: Tiffany Hill of Dothan, AL, Brittany Lewis of Clayton, AL, Veronica Burks, Victoria Jackson, ZaaKayia McClendon, and Hellen Jones of Clayton, AL; a special and devoted friend: Alexis Bianca Adams of Clayton, AL; a special brother-like friend: Martex Hines of Midway, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, and friends.
