A Time to Be – Mrs. Delaney Hill was born to the late Robert and Armetha Moore, in Abbeville, AL.
A Time to Plant – Delaney attended school at Abbeville Training School. She accepted Christ at the early age of 14 and joined New Mt Zion Freewill Baptist Church. She worked many years at Henry County Health and Rehab, where she was an Environmental Specialist. She loved being a Caregiver because she loved taking care of people.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Hill; father and mother: Robert and Armetha Moore; and one sister: Cheyenne Moore Reynolds.
A Time to Die – She leaves to cherish her memories: seven children: Loretta (Edward) Green of Abbeville, AL, Fard Smith of Abbeville, AL, Shahrazad Thomas of Taylor, AL, Omar (Wykeshia)Smith of Abbeville, AL, Salim Smith of Abbeville, AL, Alinecia Smith of Abbeville, AL, and Abdul (Fakeisha) Smith of Kincey, AL; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; five brothers: James Moore, Larry Moore, Ben Moore, Phillip Moore, and Bobby Ray Moore; two sisters: Martha Rose Crawford and Brenda Moore; four special daughters: Melissa Smith, Jennifer Dehli, Kim Littleton, Diane Sewell, and Mary Cochran; special friends: Annie Murry, Mary R. Murry, Henry Murry, Tan Davis, Gloria Brown, and Edwina Wills; a host of other relatives and friends.
