Deacon Frank Conner was born to the late Jessie Conner and Annie Brown Conner. He transitioned to his new home on February 27, 2019, at 5:55pm with his family at his bedside.
Frank accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. After graduating from T.V. McCoo High School, he moved to Middletown, CT, and lived there for many years. He later returned to Eufaula and renewed his fellowship with Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He loved his church family.
He was employed at American Buildings for over 30 years as a welder until he retired in 2008. He enjoyed working at Central Funeral Services.
Frank Conner was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Louise Slater on February 12, 1972.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one beloved sister: Jessie Mae Conner Williams; and one beloved nephew: Roger Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a devoted wife: Mary Louise Slater Conner; five children: Juan Terrance Wynn of Eufaula, AL, Tanya Conner Baker of Hartford, CT, Kim (John) Wright Lawson of Eufaula, AL, Frank Lamar Conner of Eufaula, AL, and Amber Nicole Conner of Columbus, GA; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister: Ozella (Sam) Wilbourn of Middletown, CT ; four brothers-in-law: George Slater, John Slater, Lorenza (Kim) Slater and Bobby Joe Slater; two sisters-in-law: Vivian (Calvin) Thomas and Stephanie Paige; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
