Lillie Bell (McClendon) Crossley

Sister Lillie Bell McClendon Crossley was born to the late Charles and Essie B McClendon.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mount Zion AME Church in Louisville, AL and remained a dedicated member until her passing on Thursday, December 26, 2019.

Lillie Bell McClendon was united in matrimony to the late Willie C. Crossley and to this union five children were born.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Willie C. Crossley; three children: Willie Mae Thomas, Emma Chambers, and Bobbie Ann Crossley; one brother; & two sisters.

Mrs. Lillie Bell Crossley leaves to cherish her loving memories; one son: Willie Crossley of Louisville, AL; one daughter: Alice Weems of Dothan, AL; one brother: Hubert McClendon of Winter Haven FL; seven grandchildren: Darlene Crossley, Charlotte (Napolean) Crossley Marsh, William (Dorothy) Crossley, Tonia Crossley Lewis, Stacy Crossley, Freddie R. Thomas, and Vanessa Chambers; eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; one son-in-law: Freddie Thomas; and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
