Nathaniel Blythers was born in Louisville, AL, to the late C.W. Blythers and Bessie Ruffin.
Nathaniel was raised by his grandparents, John Tullis and Burtha Tullis of Louisville, AL.
Nathaniel joined the United States Job Corp at an early age. He then started working in the logging business, where he worked for years. He then decided to start working in the Poultry Business at Keystone Foods located in Baker Hill, AL. Nathaniel’s health then started declining and was admitted in Flowers Hospital located in Dothan, AL where he passed away on March 19, 2019 around 9:30 am.
Nathaniel was preceded in death by one brother: Bennie Foy Ruffin; and one sister: Mozella Ruffin.
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memories: a loving wife: Clara Mae Blythers; only son: Stanley Bernard Blythers of Dothan, AL; two grandchildren: Stanley Jerard Blythers and Camron Marques Blythers of Dothan, AL; two brothers: Benjamin (Brenda) Ruffin of Eufaula, AL and Anthony Edward Blythers of Cleveland, OH; six sisters: Mary Ruffin (Don) Womack of Blue Springs, AL, Earnistine Ruffin of Clio, AL, Ida Mae Buck of Miami, FL, Emma Nell Johnson, Mary Emma Thomas, & Annie Pearl McBride all of Fort Pierce, FL; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Special daughter-in-law: Jackie Dozier.
