Rosie Lee (Tyson) Jones

Mother Jones was born to the late Jim and Georgia Tyson in Eufaula, AL.  She confessed Christ at an early age.  She became a member of the Antioch Baptist Church for many years.  She served faithfully to the Sunday School, choir, society, auxiliaries, and the call of being a minister’s wife.

She ended her journey being a member of Thankful Baptist Church.  She was dedicated to the call of serving the Lord.

She peacefully made her transition from this life at home with loved ones by her side.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Julius and George Jones; two brothers: Emanuel and Robert Tyson; and one sister: Lilly B. Thomas.

She was married to the late Reverend James Jones for fifty years.

She leaves memories and love to: five children: Willie Jones of Aurora, CO, Rosa Jones, Rufus (Patricia) Jones, Nathaniel Jones, and Janie (Darryl) Smith all of Eufaula, AL; one sister: Ms. Lois Everhart, Cleveland, OH; one sister-in-law: Ms. Ruth Jones of Eufaula, AL; Love and Memories are left to a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
