Arthur Porter Obituary
The late Arthur “Rudolph” Porter was born to the late Emma Kate Porter Ellington, in Birmingham, Alabama.
He attended Van Buren School. He was very active in sports. After leaving school, he moved to New York, where he resided for many years. He decided to move back home, where he lived with his sister, until his death.
Arthur was preceded in death by his mother: Emma Kate Ellington; his stepfather: T.L. Ellington; and one sister: Rosa Lee “Emma Kate” Porter.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving and caring sister: Eddie Mae Laster of Eufaula, Alabama; two brothers: Willie Ed Porter and Robert Porter both of Eufaula, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; and a special friend: Arthur Tarver.
