Donald Jovan Howard McCoy was born in Phenix City, Alabama to Wendy Howard and Donald McCoy.

He accepted Christ and attended the Last Day Church of Christ and St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church in Louisville, Alabama.

Donald was called hone to rest on June 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Renee Elizabeth Haywood and paternal grandfather: Jimmy Lee McCoy.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his mother: Wendy (Steve) Snipes; his father: Donald (Sharonda) McCoy; four sisters: Jatorien, Majeedah, Camill, and DaNashia; three brothers: Cody, Calil, and DaMari; loving paternal grandmother: Barbara Kate McCoy; maternal grandfather: Wendell Haywood (Pop, Pop); special girlfriend and love: Olivia Starks; four special uncles: Neamen Howard, Ronald McCoy, Tony McCoy, and Denoris Kennedy; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, friends; and two special friends: Jacory Hobdy and Cameron Thompkins.
