Eddie Buford Baxter

Eddie B. Baxter was born to the late Fred D. & Mizie Marsh Baxter and died on April 12, 2022 at the age of 83. He was immersed in the Christian community that would be his lifelong support from an early age. He had a love of farming and spent many days out on the tracker in the fields. He harvested many crops for the family and surrounding community. He grew up attending Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist church and served as a deacon for many years. Eddie was preceded in death by his sisters Annie Bertha Baxter, Elaine Bishop, Kattie Margaret Baxter, one brother, George Baxter and his daughter Katrina Baxter. Eddie is survived by two sons Pete (Karen) Baxter and Fred (Lisa) Baxter and his wife Bessie Baxter and her three children Denese ( Joseph) Mitchell, Diane (Darryl) Patton and Deanna Williams and his brother Jerry Earl (Melvia Jean) Baxter and sister Grace Flowers and youngest brother, Weden Alexander (Peggy) Baxter. Eddie had 14 grandchildren, great-grand children and many nieces, nephews, cousins.
