Edrick Jamar Steward was born in Ozark, Alabama to Debra Steward and Otis Gilbert.
Erick attended Barbour County School. He enjoyed life to the fullest, especially being around his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his grandmothers: Evelyn Steward and Rosie Nell Key; and his two aunts: Sallie Mae Fryer and Belinda Steward.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his daughter: Genia Steward; one son: Edrick Steward, Jr.; two grandchildren: Elijha Rogers and Devine Rogers; his mother: Debra Steward; his father: Otis Gilbert; four sisters: Evelyn Steward, ShaQuera Steward, Caroline Gilbert, and Tangela Gilbert; three brothers: Nicholas Gilbert, Willice Gilbert; six aunts: Annie Jewel (Marty), Terrie Steward (Tony), Bonnie Key, Maxine Gilbert, Mary Key, and Eula Key; one uncle: Issac Junior. Key Sr.; a very special friend: Carlisha Richardson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
