GenKnea Antoria McKinnes was born Anthony McKinnes and Gena Govan.
At an early age, GenKnea gave her life to the Lord as a member of Pea Creek Baptist Church.
She attended and graduated from Barbour County High School. She worked at Tyson Food Company in Bakerhill, AL. She enjoyed shopping and spending quality time with her son.
GenKnea was reunited in death with her great-grandparents: A.C. and Lula Bell Fryer; Warren and Thelma McKinnes; and grandfathers; Willie Foy Kyle and James Belcher.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, who she loved dearly: Braylon E. Boykin; parents: Anthony McKinnes and Gena Govan; grandparents: Rubine and Lula Mae McKinnes and Dorothy Ann Belcher; sister: Genrea McKinnes (Jim) of Abbeville, AL; niece: Ja’Kiyah of Abbeville, AL; nephew: Jha’Kari of Abbeville, AL; brother: Jontez McKinnes (Christina) of Auburn, AL; three aunts: Synthia D. McKinnes-Banks (Kenneth) of Louisville, AL, Latasha Soro (Aboubakary) of Noblesville, IN, and Chiquita McKinnes of Louisville, AL; a special aunt: Bettye K. Nelson; four uncles: Michael McKinnes (Regina) of Ozark, AL, Antonio McKinnes of Ozark, AL, Octavious Belcher (Navita) of Houston, TX, and Marion Govan of Clio, AL; a special cousin: Demetrious Rumph; second mother: Holly Faye White; special friends: Randolph Cocharn and Latoya Walker; one god-daughter: Tameria Walker; god-mother: Sandra Mayo; and a host of cousins, other family, and friends.
