Grace Kendall

Mrs. Grace Kendall Pruiett Scarver was born in Barbour County, to the late Perry Hollins and Jamila Crews.

She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined Marianna AME Church.  She served on the Women Missionary Board and the Lady Aide Society.  She was a great Homemaker and loved to drive the Daycare bus.

Grace Kendall was preceded in death by her; husband: Roy Pruitt & Willie James Scarver; one daughter: Mary Pruiett; six sisters and two brothers.

Her memories will be cherished by; her children: one daughter: Avenia (Porter) Conley of Clayton, Alabama; two sons: Edward (Aleane) Scarver of Louisville, Alabama and Donnie (Doris) Scarver of St. Petersburg, Florida; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; one devoted goddaughter: Willie Mae Height of Ashford, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
