Obituary

Gwendolyn Lynette Hurt Jett was born on  November 11, 1965 in Palm Beach County, Florida to Dorothy Griffin and Fletcher Hurt.

Gwen, also known as Poochie, loved to travel, dance, play cards, and spend time with her friends and family.

Gwendolyn gained her wings on March 2, 2023, at Flowers Hospital, in Dothan, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her father, Fletcher “Bus” Hurt and siblings: Marcellus “Lisa” Griffin and John Charles Hurt.

Those left to cherish her memories includes: her loving mother, Dorothy Jean Griffin-Pearson; children: Adrian Jett, Dwayne Jett, John Cromartie, Jr; grand-daughter: Erin Jett; siblings: James Griffin, Sr., Darris Griffin, Carol Griffin, Larry Hurt, Geneva Hurt, Terry Hurt, John Frank Hurt, Charlie D. Hurt, Junior Hurt, Mark Hurt, and Pattie Hurt.

Special Friends and Family: Willie Jett, Christine Allen, Latonya Griffin, Terrence Griffin, Sr., Alene Scarver, Fred Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
