Lady Helen Condrey (Willis) Robinson was born in Elamville, Alabama to the late Eli and Fran Etta Condrey and received her elevation to glory on July 5, 2023, at the age of 71, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama in the presence of her loving family. In her early years, Helen attended Clio Elementary, Middle, & High School in Clio, Alabama. Helen went on to become one of the areas most talented seamstress. Her sewing talent was above par, and she was skillfully unmatched. She could sew anything just by looking at a picture. She was also very crafty with her hands. Helen attended church at Revival for Lost Souls in Louisville, Alabama for many years. She has served as an Ordained Minister since October 13, 2015. Helen was a loving and outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her. Helen was loved and will be missed by many.
Helen was proceeded in death by her husband of 37 years, Arthur Lee Robinson, the love of her life, Her parents, Eli & Fran Etta Condrey, 3 sisters; Dorothy Pearson, Annie Mearl Morris and Lola Durham, 3 brothers; James Ellis Condrey, Jimmy Condrey and James L. Condrey.
Family was also “Priority One”, after God. Her personality was sweet and nurturing. Family and friends alike were drawn to her spirit. She was devoted and faithful to God, her children and grandchildren. Every celebratory moment was special for Helen. Holidays, birthdays, accomplishments and every other occasion that was worth celebrating, she was always there for her family.
Those left to cherish Helen’s memory include; Her 5 children: Xavier Willis of Vienna, VA, Tavius Willis of Clio, AL, FranKesha (Ronald) Willis of Fairburn, GA, Ursula (Christopher) Wilson of Ozark, AL, and Raven (Demarkus) Bunn of Riverdale, GA; 8 grandchildren: Taijah Wilson, Shakendria Willis, Kristen Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Kirsten Willis, Kaitlyn Willis, Ya’Shevia Stringer and Mahki Bunn; 1 great granddaughter: Londyn Willis; 4 Sisters: Doris Stokes, Susie Dickerson, Willie Pearl (Rufus) Williams, and Doretha (James) Crews; 1 Aunt: Mary Gamble; 1 Uncle: Willie Shipman Jr.; & a host of other family members and friends.
