Isaiah A Owens

Isaiah A. Owens, affectionately known as “Zeke”, was born in Louisville, Alabama to Minnie Owens Holden. He was adopted at a young age by Ruby Miles Owens and Arthur Owens.  Isaiah went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 4, 2022.

At a young age, he joined St. Luke AME Church. Zeke became a resident of Crowne Health care in Eufaula, Alabama. There, he was well known and loved by staff and residents.

He was preceded in death by his; birth mother: Minnie Owens Holden; adoptive parents: Ruby and Arthur Owens; one brother: Eugene Williams; one sister: Debra Owens; and one niece: Denise McSwain Granger. 

Zeke was never married, but leaves to cherish his memory; one daughter: Tracy Thompkins (Joseph) Wright of Eufaula, Alabama; two grandchildren: Sheldon “Dre” Thompkins- Daniels and Sahdia Joleigha Wright of Eufaula, Alabama; one brother: Arthur Robert (Lucille) Owens of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters: Nila Williams (Joseph) Kyles of Columbus, Georgia and Patty Maria Daniel of Columbus, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He also leaves to cherish special friends, Michael “Stick” Floyd, Bobby Baker, David Ford, Kendra Brooks and his Greater Hope Church family and friends.
