Jeri Nicole Lewis was born to Albert and Stella Lewis, Jr. She gained her wings early morning on September 6th, 2021.
Nicole accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at a young age as a member of Zion Hill Baptist church of Eufaula, AL. She rededicated her life to Christ upon joining St Luke AME Church where she proudly sung with JD Sanders Mass Choir. At the time of her passing, she was a faithful, cherished member of Hines Chapel AME Church and Paul Horn Ministries of Dothan, AL.
After graduating from Eufaula High School, Nicole obtained her cosmetology license from Wallace Community College Sparks Campus. Immensely creative, she not only excelled as a hair stylist but also as an interior decorator and wedding coordinator. She knew just how to turn nothing into something extraordinary.
However, her greatest gift of all was the love she gave. Between family, friends, clients, even strangers in the grocery store, Nicole knew just how to be a light to those around her. As an encourager to so many, she always offered a listening ear, uplifting words, and plenty of laughter. Although she would mention it jokingly, Nicole Lewis Ministries was definitely a blessing to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Nicole is preceded in death by her father Albert Lewis, Jr., brother Albert Lewis, III, and grandparents Johnny Lee and Betty Mae Womack. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son Cameron McElroy; her granddaughter Ava Grace; her mother Stella Lewis; three siblings: Sherrylina Womack, Deborah Lewis and Terrence Lewis, Sr.; a innumerable host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and family. Too many to name, but so many to rejoice in her heavenly arrival.
