Lee Curtis Thomas was born to Annette Freeman and Johnny Kelly. He joined St. Peter AME Church at an early age. Later in life, he gave his life back to God while attending Revival for Lost Soul. On Wednesday, August 28, 2019, he answered the call from God to come home.
He was preceded in death by his two grandmothers: Rosie Lee Wilson and Loudall Kelly; grandfather: Robert Wilson; and one aunt: Annie Dean Wilson.
Lee Curtis Thomas leaves to cherish his memories: A loving mother: Annette Freeman of Albany, GA.; Father: Johnny Kelly of Clio, AL.; one son: Curtis Wright (Nena); three grandsons: Curtis Wright Jr., Le’Andre Wright, and Tyree Washington all of Lake Whale, FL.; two brothers: Keith Freeman (Rachael) of Ariton, AL and Nicholis Lewis of Ozark, Al.; three sisters: Keisha Maines (Vincent) of Albany, Ga., Yolanda Harmon of Wisconsin, and Kosha Hinton of Atlanta, Ga.; Special Father: James Maines; Special Friend: Robert Smith; Host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Cousins, and Friends.
