Louie Walker Obituary

Louie Walker, Jr. was born to the late Louie Walker, Sr. and the late Gertrude Walker.

At an early age, Louie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined St. Peter AME Church, where he was devoted until his health declined.  He attended Clio Public High School. 

Louie married the love of his life, Carolyn Govan Walker, on March 12, 1965.  They had three amazing children.

He retired from Couch Concrete after working for 27 years.

He was preceded in death by: one son: Kwan Walker; six sisters: Rosa Lee Wilson, Sarah Knight, Annie Dickerson, Annie Pearl White, Mary Dickerson, and Dorthy White.

Mr. Louie Walker, Jr. leaves to cherish his loving memories: a loving and devoted wife: Carolyn G. Walker; three children: Louie (Amelia) Walker, III, Anthony (Brenda) Walker, and Tijuana (Ronald) Gamble; seven grandchildren: Andria (Devis) Green, Thiesha Thornton, Alicia Walker, Kierra Walker, Ariel (Kevin) Turner, Shaquoya Walker, and Devante’ Walker; twelve great grandchildren; one living sister: Lola (James) Weems; seven sisters-in-law: Emily (Tellis), Elizabeth, Joyce, Jane, Sandra (Matthew), Angela, Yolanda; two brothers-in-law: Randy (Norma) and Vincent; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
